Kezins GameCast | E3 2009 Blowout
Posted by Carlos Macias in Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3, Sony PSP, Video Games, Xbox 360 on June 11th, 2009
E3’s return-to-form show may have ended last week, but we still have things to say about it. Carlos and Adrian bring hands-on reports of Brutal Legend, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, and plenty of other big hitters to the table. Krownz and Aaron give us the “as seen from home” take on the events as they discuss the most exciting news including Project Natal, PSP Go, and Sony’s motion controllers to round out our special E3 blowout episode.

Back by popular demand, Adrian “Krownz” Lopez, joins Carlos and Adrian on the podcast this week to discuss Mass Effect, Fight Night Round 4, Red Faction: Guerrilla, EA Sports Active, and Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.

Sony and Microsoft Don’t Need To Compete With Nintendo
Posted by Will Snizek in Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3, Video Games, Xbox 360 on May 17th, 2009

Next month we will probably see Microsoft and Sony unveil new control schemes that mimic the motion madness that is the Nintendo Wii. I certainly understand that Microsoft and Sony believe they are in competition with the Wii, but they are mistaken. The Wii has become a cultural phenom and sales records of the system are partially due to the fact that non-gamers were caught up in the frenzy. With that said, I think it’s a huge mistake for Sony and Microsoft to compete with the Wii. Instead of competing, they need to improve on what they are the best at. It’s too late in the ball game anyway to expect people to get excited about motion controls on the 360 and PS3.
