It’s Never Too Early For Star Wars Cosplay (Halloween Costume)

We’re still a few months away from Halloween, but it’s never too early for some great Star Wars cosplay.  Ever since Olivia Munn dressed up as Princess Leia (pictured below), I have been a big supporter of costumes year-round. We’re hoping to see a lot of Star Wars Halloween costumes this year!

golden_bikiniI recently came across an interesting Halloween costume site that has pretty much any Star Wars costume you could ever want.  Two costumes in particular caught my eye as soon as I checked the site out.  One was a great “Leia Buns Wig” and the other was an “Amidala 1 Pc”.

If you like these, the site has a huge assortment of Star Wars related costumes.  I’ve always been a huge fan of using the force and these costumes certainly raise my metachlorians.

If you are looking for special deals, the site has a secret HAUNTED HOUSE backdoor that we stumbled across.  The backdoor on the website will get friends a nice discount!  To get to the backdoor, go to the homepage, scroll half-way down and click on the brown comma in the line that reads “Our Store now has over 10,000 masquerade items for you to choose from!”.  Who said video games are the only places with Easter Eggs?

Top Ten Star Wars PC Games

I’m not into PC gaming the way I was in the past, but I still enjoy revisiting some of the old classics.  While Star Wars games have been relatively bad on consoles, the PC market got most of the great SW titles.  Here are my picks for the “top 10 Star Wars PC games”:

  • 10  Star Wars: Dark Forces
  • 9  Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
  • 8 Star Wars: Dark Forces II
  • 7  Star Wars: X-Wing
  • 6  Star Wars: TIE Fighter
  • 5  Star Wars: Republic Commando
  • 4  Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
  • 3  Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
  • 2  Star Wars: Empire at War
  • 1  Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

I’m sure that most people would pick KOTOR as their top Star Wars game.  Not only is it the greatest Star Wars themed RPG, but it’s one of the best overall RPGs I have ever played.  I was a little upset when I discovered KOTOR III was an MMO, but I think I might still give it a shot anyway.  What really separates Star Wars games on the PC from the console games is the ability to modify the games and the stronger internet Star Wars community.

The Force Unleashed Getting PS3 Trophies *Updated*

*UPDATE* We will be getting a new special version of The Force Unleashed this fall that will include the original game, all DLC and a new Hoth level where you face off against Luke Skywalker.  Unfortunately, the original game will not be patched…

One bit of great news I heard today is that The Force Unleashed for the PS3 will be getting an update that includes trophy support. We don’t have any official word yet, but this is information Aaron received from ComicCon gossip, so it must be true! Its a shame I already got rid of the game. I might have to pick it up again…
