Mirror’s Edge Review (PS3, Xbox360)

On a demo interest and cheap sale price, I decided to pick up Mirror’s Edge recently. What can I say about this game that hasn’t already been said? Well, I can say that I hated over half of it and more often than not, I wanted to fling the disc out of the windows. I don’t think that’s been said yet. It’s time to go into detail why I wanted to hold a knife’s edge to the throats of its creators.

Following my previous post of the Top 5 Hardest RPG’s I Have Played (here), I decided to list my Top 10 Most Fun RPG’s. This isn’t my favorite RPG list, just the ones I had the most fun with. They are placed in order when they launched, starting from newest to oldest. Just to emphasize again, this is a list of RPG’s I had the most fun playing, not a “this is better than that” list. Am I seeing double? Are games becoming incredibly similar recently? It seems like every time I hear or read about a new game, another game is announced with similar characteristics. Although each game is classified as an “original” idea, one can’t help but think of a similar game coming out around the same time. Let’s take a look at some case and point examples.
